Zoe did great traveling around PA. I think she enjoyed having all her family hold her and getting to see all the pets. On tuesday we went to my parents house in the evening where she got to meet uncle tyler. On wednesday she got to tour Nan’s work at Foxdale and meet a whole truckload of ‘grandma’s and grandads’ that loved seeing the little baby. That night we had dinner with all my family, and it was so nice to see everyone. The best, though, was on the 18th when Bryan and I left Zoe with Nan and grandpa Joe for the night while we stayed at the B&B for our anniversary. It was nice for us to have a break from her together. She, on the other hand, was a handful. I guess she didn’t want to sleep after bath and needed carried around until late when she finally slept for a few hours. I pumped, so she took a bottle from Nan, but only with much coaxing and patience. She was very tired on Friday and took a LONG nap in the afternoon while we all played dominos. She also got her pictures taken on Friday, but wasn’t cooperating with a smile. We still got some cute ones, though! She was so alert and active this whole trip; I feel she’s gotten smarter just over the last week. The flights home were a challenge…well the 2nd one was. She slept for the first flight, but was wide awake from chicago to tucson. I played with her and changed her twice, and when she got fussy I tried to feed her but she just fought with me and wouldn’t latch on. She ended up crying the last 1/2 hour. Sad and embarassing. It’s nice to be home.
