This weekend, it was chilly and overcast so we got a big craft project finished. Zoe and I sanded down our old coffee table; she loves the orbital sander. We then painted the top to look like a farm road, some fields and a pond. She helped paint the big undercoats of color, but I took over for the detail work. Zoe loves crafts and continued painting “trees” and “flowers” on her easle while I worked on the table. We’ve put a gazzillion coats of heavy-duty polyurithane on it and painted the rest black. It looks really sharp!
