Floating

Today Dad and I joined a few of his friends for a kayak trip down the Frankstown Branch of the Little Juniata.  It was the first warm and sunny day since I arrived 2 weeks ago.  The water was up and life is good.    It was a peaceful float for the first half …  until we ran into the yocal drunks out on a joy float until they reached their concert-party downstream.  Oh well, I guess we can all have fun.  Though, we can’t all stand up in the front of a canoe and pee in the river in front of everyone for 5 minutes; that is only for talented drunk hicks.  Life skills.

Dad and I had a great time, and mom and the kids had fun playing at the cabin.  Wish there were more days like this!
