We’ve been watching this show about a smallholder lately that outs me in the mood for spring and gardening again! All I can do, though is work with my storage. So tonight I took the pumpkins from our cold room and processed them. A few were starting to get rotten spots, so I knew they wouldn’t last the winter.
Hacked them apart (I love that part), pulled out the seeds, baked them, scooped out the goodies, and blended. Then I put it in freezer bags to store. I also got adventurous and made my own soup, which is one of my favorites. It turned out awesome!
Someday this nomad will get a chance at the agrarian lifestyle.
I think that makes 8 or maybe even 9 pumpkins that we used from the garden.
